I've entered the European photo contest of Canon: The Assignment. In numerous European countries entrants can submit one photo into a category of choise (Portrait, Macro, Landscape and Sports). I've chosen to submit a photo I took of an ammonite into the Belgian macro category. I've made this photo at school with a Sinar technical camera as part of my free work with a large format camera. I got the fossil from a friend back in high school. I'm really fond of fossils and I've started a little collection about 8 years ago. I find the particular spiral shape of ammonites very intriguing.
